The Hong Kong Alliance of Built Asset & Environment Information Management Associations (HKABAEIMA) will hold the training class (CDE Fever) in virtual meeting room on 14th July, 2021 (Wednesday). Our Institute (HKICBIM) as one of HKABAEIMA’s founding members, we are honored to invite all HKICBIM members to join the series of training classes on different topics to strengthen the understanding of transiting from BIM to openBIM.
In mid-June, HKABAEIMA sent a questionnaire to CDE systems interested in participating in review of their system in compliance with CIC BIM Standards (General) and ISO 19650. HKABAEIMA received replies from the following 7 companies for the CDE systems listed (sequence followed by their date/time of entry.
Developer / Agent | Name of CDE System |
isBIM | Jarvis BIM Cloud Platform CDE |
Bentley | Bentley ProjectWise |
GVDC | EcoDomus |
Esri | ArcGIS Solutions for Common Data Environment |
A.C.I.D. | Information Management Common Data Environment (IM-CDE) |
Autodesk | Autodesk Construction Cloud (previously called BIM 360) |
RIB | MTWO |
Based on their replies, HKABAEIMA conduct a simple analysis to understand how they can comply with the CIC BIM Standards (General) and ISO 19650. From the analysis, we can also understand how the requirements for CDE in CIC BIM Standards (General) are fulfilled by CDE systems available in the market. HKABAEIMA will present the analysis results on 14 July 2021 in our hybrid (physical for members and online watching for others) event of “CDE Fever”. These companies will give a 15-minute sharing for their CDE system in the event.
