With the enthusiasm for participating in Survey and BIM institutional and industry work, Sr Michael Wong, our Founding President has been actively involving in development of our HKICBIM, as well as the forming of HKABAEIMA.
Michael was invited by the Quantity Surveying Division (QSD), the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), as the speaker of CPD event dated on 17 Jan 2020.
Alongside his survey expertise, Michael shared with the industry his case studies in different multi-infrastructure projects on Civil BIM advancements. He also introduced HKICBIM and HKABAEIMA as to draw attention from industry, to encourage more professions and experts to be engaged in BIM development.
Sr Betty Lo, Chairperson of the HKIS QSD CPD Sub-Committee and Council Member of the HKIS QSD presented a souvenir as a token of appreciation to our Founding President, Sr Michael Wong.

Hong Kong Institute of Civil and Building Information Management (HKICBIM) is a newly formed institute which provides an informative platform for civil and building counterparts to network and exchange civil Building Information Modeling (BIM) knowledge. HKICBIM aims to foster technological innovation and accelerate the adoption of Civil and Building Information Modeling Management in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) industry.
The Articles and By-Laws set out the HKICBIM objectives of establishment, grades of membership, structure and management, professional conduct, and other rules relevant to conduct the affairs of HKICBIM. In addition, the By-Laws may be revised and supplemented periodically as and when necessary.
